Anies Ensures Flood Refugees Needs Fulfilled

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan ensures to fulfill flood refugees needs.

He mentioned, besides food and beverages, Jakarta Provincial Government also distributes blanket and other refugees needs.

He explained, 140 RTs and 48 RWs in Jakarta are flooded due to subsequent flood. Total flood refugees are 6,532 people.

"Flood refugee in South Jakarta is 3,900 people while in East Jakarta is 2,632 people," eh informed.

Until this dawn, he continued, his side still monitors Ciliwung River water level at Manggarai Floodgate, Jl. Tambak, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

"At 1 AM, water volume at Manggarai Floodgate reaches its limit as high as 900 cm," he conveyed.

He instructed his subordinate to open floodgate leads to Ciliwung Lama River to decrease its volume.

"Alhamdulillah, water level has increased into 895 cm at 6 AM and now reduce into 870 cm," he expressed.

According to him, all related SKPD/UKPD should monitor water receding process from upstream. 11 teams are ready to work in 11 points along Ciliwung River.

"Peak of subsequent flood is already passed. We will ensure it to recede well by monitoring it continuously," he said.
